AI Social Media Post Generator

Generate high-converting social posts with customer call-to-actions, hashtags, and clean formatting.

100% client-side. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored on a server.

The hard part of social media for a small business is not the photo — it is the 40 words under it, five times a week. This generator drafts ready-to-post captions for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Status, LinkedIn and X from a few inputs: what you are promoting, the offer, the call to action and your tone. It formats them for each platform (line breaks, emoji density, hashtag sets, character limits), adds your WhatsApp or website link, and lets you copy the result in one tap. Drafts are generated in your browser from structured templates; nothing is uploaded.

What a post needs

ElementPurpose
Hook (first line)The only line shown before "more"; a question, a number, or the offer
BodyWhat it is, who it is for, why now — two or three short lines
ProofA detail: "made fresh at 6 am", "300+ five-star reviews", "GST invoice included"
Call to actionOne action: order on WhatsApp, visit, DM, save the post
Link or handlewa.me link, website, location tag
Hashtags5–10 relevant ones on Instagram, 1–3 on LinkedIn, none on WhatsApp

How to use the generator

  1. Choose the platform and post type — product launch, offer, festive greeting, behind-the-scenes, testimonial, hiring, announcement.
  2. Enter the product or service, the offer or key detail, your location and your call to action; pick a tone (friendly, premium, playful, formal) and language (English, Hindi, Hinglish).
  3. Read the three draft variations; pick one and edit.
  4. Add your wa.me link or website; the tool checks length limits and suggests a hashtag set.
  5. Copy and post; save the template for the next one.

Platform notes

  • Instagram: 2,200-character limit but the first 125 matter; put the CTA early; 5–10 niche hashtags beat 30 generic ones; add location.
  • Facebook: longer text works; link previews matter; local groups are where small businesses get reach.
  • WhatsApp Status and broadcast: short, image-first, price visible; broadcasts need opt-in — see WhatsApp Business per-message pricing.
  • LinkedIn: for B2B suppliers and services — a short story, one insight, no hard sell; 3 hashtags.
  • X: under 280 characters; one image; reply to your own post with the link.

Images to go with it

Consistent, well-lit product photos outperform clever captions. Clean backgrounds with the background remover, resize for each platform with the photo resizer (1080 × 1350 for Instagram feed, 1080 × 1920 for Status/Stories), and keep text on images under 20% of the area for ads. Which AI tools actually help a small shop — and which waste money — is covered in AI for the small shop in 2026.

Compliance in captions

  • Offers must state conditions ("on bills above ₹999, till 31 Oct") and match the price tags in store.
  • Do not use "best", "no. 1" or health claims you cannot substantiate; ASCI guidelines apply to social ads, and FSSAI rules to food claims.
  • Testimonials need the customer's permission; mark paid partnerships as such.
  • Festive posts: check dates; Diwali, Eid and Pongal move each year.

Measuring

Track saves, shares and profile visits, not just likes; the engagement rate calculator normalises by followers or reach, and click-to-WhatsApp counts show up in your chats. For paid boosts, the ROAS calculator says whether it was worth it.

Frequently asked questions

Are the captions generated by AI on a server?

Drafts are assembled locally in your browser from structured templates and your inputs — nothing is sent to a server. Edit them to sound like you.

How many hashtags should I use?

Instagram: 5–10 specific to your product and city. LinkedIn: 1–3. Facebook and WhatsApp: none or one.

Can it write in Hindi?

Yes — English, Hindi and Hinglish (Roman script) are supported for all templates.

How often should a small business post?

Three to five times a week on one primary platform beats daily posting on four. Consistency and replies matter more than volume.

Do I need to mark offers with terms?

Yes. Consumer protection and ASCI guidelines require material conditions to be disclosed; the generator prompts you for validity dates and minimum bill.
